AI is a road to the middle

I wanted to quickly address the elephant in the room, the use of AI. Now, this isn't about trashing the use of AI. I actually find it can be incredibly helpful if used in a strategic way. I will often use it as a glorified "spell check," or shorten or 'tighten' something that I have already written.
There are absolutely things AI is good for, but what it isn't good for (in my humble opinion) is originality. Just looking at some of the blog posts, I see the same language again and again. And, it's totally fine, if you need to create something quick and don't mind it being "good enough" - go for it! I certainly do at times.
For me, it isn't where truly great design and innovation lives - yet.
The content I create comes from a place of years of collecting vast amounts of knowledge and experience, and also investing in my own growth to expand my capacity to navigate complexity. That's not something that can be manufactured using an AI bot.
I believe using AI technology can be supportive in work and make us more efficient, but the jury is out if it will make us more effective and expand human possibility. For me, it's not there yet.
