Custom Program Design + Advisory

The DesignWise Transformational Design Framework©

A human-centered, systems-aware way to design leadership experiences that result in transformative and lasting mindsets and behaviors.

Design Process

Instead of starting with solutions, we begin by clarifying what success really looks like, inviting diverse voices across the system, and understanding the current reality beneath the surface. From there, we design small, testable prototypes that allow people to practice new behaviors in real time. This can include anything from a "drop in" advisory session, to learning architecture, full engagement, multifaceted programming, curriculum design, or full department creation.

Drawing on design thought leaders, DesignWise has developed a specific framework for designing new programs within existing systems.

1

ENGAGE: Clarify What Truly Matters

Starting with the end in mind, we use various frameworks to create and discover what truely matters.

1

TRANSFORM: Design a Program Framework

Using our Ten Facets of Impactful Development Programs© framework, we work collaboratively with a team of professionals to propose a engagement that works best for your organization.

2

REVEAL: See The System As It Is

Here we map the current reality - what’s working, what’s stuck, and what’s quietly shaping behavior.

5

PILOT: Start Small, and make adjustments

Instead of launching massive programs based on theory, we design small, testable experiences that allow people to practice new ways of thinking and working.

3

VERIFY: Before Moving Forward

Before moving forward, we gather the data in a clean, easy to follow summary to ensure we are all seeing the same thing. Only after we have a shared agreement do we move forward.

6

EXPAND: Iterate and Launch

By this point, the design has already been tested, refined, and supported by real users — making success far more likely.
